By playing on this server, you agree to follow all rules listed below.
Failure to do so may result in punishments ranging from warnings to permanent bans.
The Rules are not final yet! some rules can still be changed.
Since the server is still under develoment!
Glowpire is built for fair fights, strong roleplay, and a healthy community. These rules exist to keep Kingdom wars fun, protect players from unfair advantages, and prevent “cheese” builds that ruin PvP.

- AFK or fully automated farming
- Lag machines / laggy systems (staff may remove them)
- Semi-automatic farms
- Semi-auto designs are allowed
- Must be connected to a lever/switch
Fort Rules PvP forts
Fort rules exist to keep fights fair and to prevent impossible-to-push structures. Forts should be accessible, readable, and defendable without relying on gimmicks.
🚪 Main Entrances (#1)
- Every fort must have two main entrances.
- Each entrance must be a 3×2 block passage.
- No height difference blocking the entrance (it must be easy to enter).
- Fences are allowed, but they may not heavily restrict flow — the fort must remain accessible.
⛏️ Underground (#2)
- Underground tunnels are allowed for transport only.
- Entrances must be clearly visible and may not be traps, dead ends, or maze-like designs.
📏 Height Limit (#3)
- If the fort is built on a mountain, the mountain itself does not count (cosmetic terrain).
- You may not artificially raise terrain so the fort sits more than 10 blocks higher than its surroundings.
- This ensures attackers can reasonably enter and fight.
🪜 Stairs & Stair Rooms (#4)
- Stairs must be at least 2 blocks wide on each side.
- Ladders are allowed, but max 5 ladders stacked vertically.
- Every staircase must have:
- a railing of at least 1 full block high, and
- every 5 blocks of length: a pillar of at least 2 blocks high, and
- every 5 blocks in height or length: a 3×3 landing with railing.
- All stair rooms/hallways (spiral stairs + ladders too) must be at least 3×3 (excluding the ladder/stair block).
- Stairs may only use: stairs, slabs, ladders, and full blocks without GUI.
- No “ladder tricking” (trapdoors between ladder segments to bypass the 5-ladder rule).
🧱 Special Blocks / Items (#5)
These restrictions prevent cheesy defenses and unfair movement.
- Soul Sand: max 20 blocks
- Water: only to extinguish yourself (not for movement)
- Not allowed: magma blocks, pistons, lava, dispensers, droppers, hoppers, cactus, cobweb, minecarts (all types), netherrack, doors, ice, slime blocks, all snow blocks, crafting tables, all chests, all furnaces, berry bushes, honey blocks.
🌉 Bridges (#6)
- Allowed if they are at least 3 blocks wide and have a 1 full block high railing.
- No holes in bridges.
- Exception: no railing required if the bridge is 10+ blocks wide and has multiple compliant access points.
🕳️ Moats (#7)
- Moats may be max 4 blocks deep from the ground level above it.
- If terrain changes height, the moat must follow that terrain.
- Every 10 blocks there must be a way out (see underground/stairs rules).
🧱 Walls (#8)
- All walls must be accessible to all players from the inside.
🗼 Towers (#9)
- Towers do not need two main entrances; a normal 2×2 entrance is allowed.
- Ladder passage may be 2×2 if the tower is smaller than 5×5.
🚫 Traps (#10)
- Traps are always forbidden (fall damage traps, punch traps, etc.).
➕ Extra (#11)
- No crawl/swim-only passages.
- No parkour inside or outside a fort.
- Anti-gap builds: using GUI blocks (crafting tables, furnaces, chests, etc.) to prevent gap closing is forbidden.
- Anti-water-bucket floors: fully covering a floor with buttons is forbidden. Only up to 50% of a floor area may use buttons/plates for this purpose.
⚠️ Heads-up (#12)
- If fort judges discover an exploit not listed here, it will be added to the rules and posted in Discord (changelog).
- If you change an approved fort, you must report it and request a re-check via ticket.
PvP Rules Fights & chases
PvP is allowed and expected on Glowpire — but it must stay fair. These rules exist to stop cheesy tactics, prevent grief during fights, and keep chases consistent.
⚔️ General PvP (#1)
- You do not need a roleplay reason to start a fight.
- If you lag out during a fight, there is no revive.
- Spectating fights is at your own risk — if you die, no revive.
- Kingdom members may always join fights in wilderness. Allies may help as well.
- Border camping is allowed. If staff tells you to move, you move.
- Fishing players out of their land is forbidden.
- Shooting from wilderness into kingdom land is forbidden unless you are already in combat with that person.
- Cross-teaming is forbidden.
- Mine hunting is forbidden. PvP at a server mine is allowed.
- Dogs may not be used in fights.
- Water buckets are only for extinguishing yourself — use ladders to climb.
- Blocking in/boxing in players is forbidden (even if you’re not involved).
- No pulling loot from enderchest / PV during PvP scenarios.
- Frost Walker boots are forbidden.
- Logging out near: capture point, boss arena/portals, PvP mines, TP boat, etc. is forbidden.
- Bow boosting is forbidden.
- During a fight, cobwebs and berry bushes are forbidden.
🏃 Chase Rules
- During a chase you may enter land to finish the fight. After the kill, leave the land immediately.
- During a chase you may not use commands and you may not log out. If you do, your inventory can be surrendered.
Sneak Attacks (10-Min Call) Kingdom raids
A Sneak Attack (also called a “10-minute call”) is a staff-approved kingdom attack with a 10-minute warning. It’s designed to be intense, but fair — both sides get structure and clear rules.
📌 Part 1 (#2)
- Definition: A 10-minute preparation period before an attack begins.
- Roleplay reason required: Sneaks must have a valid RP reason.
- Minimum defenders: The target kingdom must have at least 5 online members.
- Approval: Sneaks are requested via
/sneakattack (Kingdom)and must be accepted by staff. - Announcement: Defenders are notified 10 minutes before the attack starts.
👥 Participation & behavior
- No toxic behavior.
- Defenders must always have at least 1 more player than attackers.
- Attackers may enter with one fewer than defender peak count during the 10-minute prep.
- Defenders may not leave their land during the 10-minute call.
- Defenders may not log out to avoid the call.
- No swapping players during the sneak.
- If a kingdom refuses to properly participate, staff may adjust rewards/cooldowns.
- You may not attack the kingdom traveling to a sneakattack.
🧾 Complaints & surrender
- Only the king may file complaints after a 10-minute call.
- Surrender is allowed only after at least 30% of your members have been killed.
- Staff decides the surrender price.
📌 Part 2 (#3) — Gear, location, loot
- No switching into worse gear right before/during the call. Upgrading to a better PvP kit is allowed.
- Fights happen where defenders set up (approved PvP fort allowed). Sneaks must be fought above ground.
- Winning kingdom keeps loot until inventory is full. No burning/destroying loot.
- No griefing.
- Water is allowed only if not used for grief/climbing. Water is for extinguishing; use ladders for climbing.
- Ladders may be placed (used to climb, not to grief). Doors/buttons/fences may be opened but cost power.
- No restocking/healing outside the border during a sneak.
- No kingdom switching or inviting after the sneak has been announced.
🛡️ Anti-sneak shields
- Defenders win → shield 24 hours (removed if they start a 10-min call themselves).
- Defenders lose → shield 48 hours (removed if they start a 10-min call themselves).
- Attackers → shield 30 minutes and may not request another 10-min call for 24 hours.
⏱️ Duration & death rules
- A 10-minute call lasts max 30 minutes.
- Most kills wins unless staff decides otherwise.
- If you die, you may not rejoin.
- Combat logging is forbidden (you will still die and lose items).
- Only a king or duke/duchess may request a 10-minute call.
- Allies may participate with limits:
- Per 2 attacking players, 1 ally may join (same for defenders).
- Attackers must still have at least 1 player more overall.
- Defenders request allies; attackers must approve/deny.
- Staff announces both the start warning and the end of the 10-minute call.
Roleplay Rules RP & immersion
Glowpire uses light roleplay to make the world feel alive. Keep it immersive, fair, and respectful. Meta gaming breaks the experience for everyone — don’t do it.
🎭 General RP Rules (#1)
- During roleplay, use the correct RP text channel.
- No meta gaming — only use information you learned in-game through roleplay.
- Exception: Speaking to your own kingdom members in your Discord is allowed (treated like a letter).
- Traveling through another kingdom is allowed only with permission from that kingdom’s HKM member.
- You may request access in-game or via Discord. If approved via Discord, notify an online staff member.
- NSFW roleplay is not allowed.
- Make sure your kingdom understands your character/backstory to prevent confusion.
- If your kingdom is sneakattacked, you may not call in offline allies. Only online players may participate.
- Death RP rule: you are revived by a mysterious force, but forget the last 30 minutes before your death.
- If the fight lasted longer than 30 minutes, you may remember earlier parts.
🔒 Prisoner Rules (#2)
- Taking prisoners is allowed for valid reasons (enemy status, proof of wilderness fight, ransom, or approved RP reason).
- Maximum prisoner time: 24 hours.
- If a prisoner escapes after 5 hours, they may be killed on sight.
- Prisoners may be freed via an approved rescue attempt (RP ticket required).
- Buy-outs and negotiations are allowed — keep agreements clear.
- There must always be an escape route or a realistic rescue path.
🤝 RP Meetings & Diplomacy (#3)
- For alliance/enemy meetings, notify the RP manager/lead via RP ticket first.
- Proof is required: a screenshot from the Minecraft RP channel where both kings agree.
- Discord DMs, private messages, or public chat do not count as proof.
🗝️ Prison Breaks — How it works (#4)
A rescue attempt can be requested by your own kingdom (General+) or your ally (Duke+), via an RP ticket.
- You may enter their land with -1 player compared to defenders.
- If defenders go offline while you are traveling, you must stop and return home (a new time can be scheduled).
/invis means it is not announced. You must wear at least one piece of armor (e.g. boots).
PvP behavior during rescue
- The rescuing team may never strike first.
- The defending kingdom may attack at any time.
- No chasing: once the rescuing kingdom leaves the land, the attempt ends.
After you rescue the prisoner
- If you leave unseen and without combat, you may not be chased.
